With that in mind, unless you have some clever analytical tools, together with understanding Raw files and histograms in depth, I doubt you will find an easy way to fully replicate the effect. You will also get to know about some of the most powerful adjustment tools that Capture One Pro offers over Lightroom. It seems like it is equivalent of changing multiple sliders at the same time and different rates, depending upon the original picture. In this Part Two of the Fast-track Guide from Lightroom to Capture One Pro, we will look at the key differences between image editing features in the two programs. If you watch the histogram change while quickly sliding it back and forth, it show a compound altering of the tone curve, rather than the much simpler changes of 'Contrast' and 'Clarity'. Many of them are similar, but there are a few that are exclusive to. Capture One and Lightroom offer unique editing tools. If you transition from Capture One to Lightroom, you’ll likely get used to the program quickly. I suspect, but don't know, that De-haze in Lightroom is probably a relatively complex adjustment of levels, altered according to the existing histogram and allowing for the normal differences between a standard and 'hazy' image. If you transition from Lightroom to Capture One, you’ll have to get used to its unusual importing system. Other than dehaze function, I like C1 better than LR. I hope I explained myself properly this time :-) So it all comes to this: if I need dehaze in some photos, how can I get C1's color rendering defaults in LR? I want the photos to have similar look but only few of them will need dehaze - In C1 it really hard for me to achieve good results trying to manually dehaze a photo (it also takes a lot of time which I would like to spare) I found the dehaze function in LR is just excellent but the problem is that C1 is the best program to handle Sony's raw files (I totally agree here with 'Jaf-Photo') By applying our Lightroom Preset to a HALD, well be able to generate a three-dimensional representation of our two-dimensional image adjustments. A HALD is a pattern containing all colour values (pixels) for a specific size of grid. In his article, he does not have the latest LR which also have the automated function "Dehaze" like the DxO Cleanview (which I used as well). This is the first step in how to make a LUT from your Lightroom presets. Just did not like the compartmentalized LR approach, but I know many, many do so if its working for you - stay with it. I use C1 because Aperture was discontinued and the logic in C1 is closer to Aperture (in terms of file management) than LR. Unless you like using multiple tools and willing to spend the time to get really proficient with them, using one of C1 or LR is enough, and PS (or alike). Its for the last versions so it can only improve from this.
